A traditional burial is the most conventional and most elaborate method of funeral. It involves collection from the deceased’s initial place of death, complete care of the body, embalming and dressing for an open viewing.
The burial ceremony itself will take place at grave-side, where mourners will have space to give readings, recite poems and talk about the life of their loved one. The service can be led by a celebrant, priest or other official of the family’s choosing and there will be flowers and wreathes in celebration of their life.
